OUR PROCESS

At Alcon Insulation, we take pride in our meticulous approach to insulation removal and installation. Our process is designed to ensure a seamless experience for our clients while delivering exceptional results.

Here's how we do it:

1. Area Preparation

When we remove insulation and all debris, we take care to protect the work area. We cover the floors, doors, and walls with plastic and cardboard if possible. In areas where access to doors is limited within the home, we typically use a nearby window to more easily remove insulation in poor condition. That window is also protected with plastic and cardboard.

2. Clean Out

After removing everything, we ensure that the entire area is left clean. In both the crawl space and attic, we take care to create a noticeable change for our clients in their home. We decontaminate any unpleasant odors caused by rodents using a chemical-free deodorant that won’t compromise your health.

3. Installation of Vapor Barrier

Our goal is to prevent direct contact between the vapor and the interior part of the building, which is why we specialize in installing 6mil and 10mil black polyester, the size that the customer decides. Both sizes are secured with metal stakes to prevent any movement in case someone has to enter the crawl space in future.
